UPPSC Prelims GS Paper I is the core merit paper consisting of 150 questions for 200 marks with negative marking of 0.33 marks per incorrect answer. It evaluates candidates on national and Uttar Pradesh-specific knowledge across multiple disciplines.
The GS Paper I curriculum covers a comprehensive range of subjects including History of India and Uttar Pradesh, Geography, Indian Polity, Economy, Environment, Science & Technology, and Current Affairs.
